There has been an update to the credit card screen in the DMA portal. The billing zip code is now required in order for the transaction to processes. A cardholder's ZIP code is an identity qualifier for the credit card transaction process. ZIP codes not only help to ensure that your transaction is completed securely, it also reduces you credit card rate.

If you are not accepting American Express, it has been added as an additional form of payment to your existing merchant accounts. If you are currently accepting American Express, and you were receiving a separate deposit, that has changed. American Express will be included in your settlement with Visa, MasterCard and Discover. American Express transactions will be the same rate as your current payment types. This change will allow you to provide more payment options with no additional costs to your merchant accounts.
